Who We Are

ATCO Structures is part of the ATCO Group of Companies and is a design-build contractor supplying pre-manufactured permanent building solutions to a variety of clients across western Canada. Our focus has been on providing a full range of pre-fabricated building solutions for Indigenous and other remote communities, including the design and construction of offices, schools, day care centers, hockey arenas and gas stations.  We are proud of the trusting relationships and partnerships we have been able to form with First Nations through the execution of many successful projects across western Canada, NWT and northern Ontario.

ATCO Structures is currently building a modular housing complex in the New Westminster area and is looking for a full-time Construction Worker to join the team for this 3-month project. If you enjoy constructing, renovating, erecting and repairing of buildings made of wood, wood substitutes and other materials, this may the next project opportunity for you.


  • Repair and maintain doors, floors, windows, partitions, ceilings, and exteriors of buildings; builds and installs door and window framing
  • Build wooden structures such as partitions, building, office additions, does sheeting and rough carpentry on the buildings as well as final finishes
  • Perform hand and bench work, operate planers, joiners, drill presses, power saws, sanders, and other woodworking machinery
  • Repair and maintain hand tools, saws, and other carpentry tools; installs locks, door knobs, and other building hardware
  • Read and interpret blue prints
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Flexible to take on other activities such as cleaning of work areas, emptying garbage’s, and traffic flagging management when required

  • Experience working on small to medium size construction sites
  • Ability to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools as well as materials
  • Current certificate in First Aid
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications and work from sketches
  • Ability to plan, lay out, and perform carpentry work
  • Knowledge of cabinet-making techniques
  • Must be able to lift and carry 55 pounds
