Our Camp Services Team near Delta Junction, Alaska, USA is seeking an Maintenance Technician to support hands-on maintenance activities while ensuring safe working practices at our site.

THE ROLE:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on structural, mechanical, utility, and electrical systems, including commercial and residential laundry equipment.
  • Maintain and repair building interiors and exteriors, including:
    • Finishing, ceilings, flooring, and roofing.
    • Appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, water tanks, and recreational electronics.
    • Fire equipment, kitchen equipment, sports equipment, parking lot, backup generators, and washing machines.
  • Conduct light plumbing repairs, including washer/dryer, toilet grinder, water heater, and kitchen appliance repairs.
  • Manage and maintain inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment; initiate reordering as needed.
  • Support routine and emergency maintenance activities while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support site operations.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Proficiency in basic building maintenance and expertise in at least two of the following trades:
    • Electrical
    • HVAC systems
    • Plumbing
    • Carpentry (including doors and window repair)
    • Appliance repair
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in preventative and corrective maintenance within a commercial or residential setting is an asset.
  • Certifications such as Confined Space, Fall Arrest, or First Aid are highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to ensuring safe and efficient operations.

This role is essential for ensuring the smooth functioning and upkeep of facilities while maintaining the highest safety and operational standards.
